Job Summary

The School Board Liaison is a critical role at CB Canada, responsible for ensuring seamless operations between schools, parents, and our organization. As a key liaison, you will be the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and feedback from various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Management: Monitor bus routes, correct or create schedules as needed, and distribute them to dispatch, drivers, and attendants.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between schools, parents, and CB Canada to resolve inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Driver and Attendant Management: Assign drivers and attendants to open routes and ensure they have the necessary information to perform their duties effectively.
  • Meeting and Event Attendance: Attend driver meetings at schools and board meetings as required to stay informed and provide updates.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and map reading skills with a strong knowledge of the city's road systems, locations of schools, and major attractions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as a Class 2 driver's license (considered an asset).
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a regular workday falling between the operational hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Flexibility is required to adapt to changing circumstances.
