Job Summary

As a key member of the Great Canadian Entertainment team, the Surveillance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security of our properties. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document security incidents, including violations, large cash transactions, and unauthorized access
  • Maintain accurate logs and records, including evidence for future reference
  • Conduct regular checks on surveillance facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving
  • Foster strong relationships with guests and team members to create a safe and welcoming environment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in criminology or a related field is an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in security or surveillance
  • Responsible Liquor Service Certification (Serving it Right)
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks for extended periods
  • Adherence to high standards, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License
