Job Summary

Hillcrest Security Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing and recruitment, from identifying staffing requirements to advising job applicants on employment terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure business needs are met.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Employee Onboarding
    • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure employees are equipped to perform their roles.
  • HR Administration
    • Review candidate inventories and maintain accurate records of staffing and recruitment activities.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective recruitment processes.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience
      • Experience in human resources or a related field is an asset.
    • Language
      • Fluency in English is required.
    • Work Environment
      • 40 hours per week.
