About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team at Best Centered Care Agency Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care and visiting care agency setting.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist patients with feeding.
  • Transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, and provide basic life support.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including making beds and keeping patients' rooms tidy.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, and provide support and encouragement.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and ensure timely communication.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

Our agency operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
