We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at Solicitude Support Services Inc. as a Patient Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor clients' medication regimens.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Communication: Maintain open and honest communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
