Bilingual Communication Specialist

As a Language Interpreter at EMBASSY WEST SENIOR LIVING, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication across diverse languages. Your expertise will ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of interpretation services.
Key Responsibilities- Education: College/CEGEP
- Utilize reference materials, including dictionaries and software, to verify translation precision.
- Review translated documents to maintain the essence, emotion, and content of the source material.
- Oversee and mentor team members in interpretation practices.
- Convert sign language to spoken language and vice versa.
- Facilitate oral communication between different languages.
- Provide interpretation services in legal settings.
- Assist speakers of Aboriginal or foreign languages.
- Interpret for individuals and small groups effectively.
- Conduct research on terminology and identify relevant terms in various sectors.
- Preserve the content, context, and style of original materials.
- Execute quality control, proofreading, and offer consultation services.
- Translate a wide range of written documents.
Minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
