About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Flower City Contracting Services Inc. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building materials in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a sturdy and secure structure.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and structures to extend their lifespan and functionality.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
