Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Reimar Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Work Environment

As a Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will be required to work outdoors and may be exposed to physical demands such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
