We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at OSR CONSTRUCTION. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, and preparing layouts in conformance to building codes.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Prepare tenders and quotations.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites.
- Estimating costs and materials.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Physically demanding.
- Tight deadlines.
- Accurate.
- Team player.
- Punctuality.
- Noisy.
- Construction.
- Various locations.
- Residential.
