About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to join our dynamic CENTRUS modeling team at WSP Canada. As an Intermediate BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for developing completed building models and drawings using Revit software, assuming full responsibility and ownership of assigned projects, and coordinating WSP drawings with other project disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed building models and drawings using Revit software.
  • Assume full responsibility and ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate and integrate WSP drawings with other project disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Support and promote established BIM standards and modeling best practices within the team.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of drafting experience, with a strong background in construction and/or consulting services.
  • 3-5 years of in-depth experience modeling with Revit for a large-sized structural engineering firm.
  • Knowledgeable in Revit family editing and Revit template creation, with a strong understanding of interoperability of BIM modeling and design tools.
  • Understanding of Dynamo scripting and a comfort running scripts in Dynamo Player.
  • Desire to promote and support practices that improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-motivation to grow professionally and personally, with an organized and methodical mindset and a capacity for resolving challenges.
  • Attention to detail, with a commitment to technical excellence to produce quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Eligibility for Canadian security reliability status, with secret level clearance being an asset.
