About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Sales Associate to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Perform cash-related functions, sales processing, and handle general customer inquiries.
  • Prepare merchandise orders, prepare banking deposits, and other miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Ensure the safety standards, procedures, and protocols are maintained on the sales floor, including sweeping, dusting, and other general store maintenance activities.
  • Assist in replenishing and stocking shelves after receiving deliveries or as needed, up to 50LBS.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or guest service experience is desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs, including openings, closings, and weekends.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software is desirable.
  • Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) results for your store by achieving set goals.
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50LBS repetitively without assistance.
  • Access to reliable transportation to and from the store.

What to Expect:
