Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper at Motherlode Quick Lube. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mechanics with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
- Support surveying activities by holding stakes and ensuring accurate measurements.
- Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
As a Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with potential hazards. Our work site is located in a rural area, and you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements- Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team.
- Dependability, flexibility, and initiative to adapt to changing work priorities.
As a Mechanic Helper, you will be required to work in a variety of conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and dust. You will also be expected to work in a team environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
