Manulife is seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join our Global Data Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the growth and expansion of our data governance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global data governance framework to ensure data quality and integrity across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data governance practices and technologies.
  • Support leaders in data governance roles to improve data literacy and familiarity with data governance practices.
  • Engage with partners to identify critical data elements and set up metrics linking data quality to business value.
  • Conduct hands-on data analysis to address high-priority data quality issues.
  • Implement global data governance metrics and oversight mechanisms to ensure delivery of target outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance and data management in a large multinational organization.
  • Mastery of data governance concepts and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience using leading data quality software and data visualization products at scale.
  • Familiarity with foundational data architecture concepts and Cloud technology is a plus.
