Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Program Manager to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, including data classification, data privacy, and data quality.
  • Lead the implementation of a data stewardship program, identifying data stewards across departments and developing training and education on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define data lifecycle management policies and procedures, including data retention, archival, and disposal practices.
  • Document data governance processes, policies, and procedures, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and challenges, and ensure data governance initiatives are addressing current and future business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years technical/project leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
