About the Job

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Clearpath Robotics. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing advanced repair and troubleshooting services for our industrial mobile robotics platforms.

Your primary goal will be to efficiently return customer systems to operation and minimize downtime experienced. You will work closely with our production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless support and maintenance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote advanced repair and troubleshooting services for our industrial mobile robotics platforms.
  • Audit systems to verify optimal functionality and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continually improve our products and services.
  • Support and repair existing customer deployments, including traveling to customer locations as needed.
  • Review customer workflow, software, and database systems to identify areas for improvement.

About You

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about robotics and automation. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and experience working with complex systems.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional professionalism and client-facing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including debugging and repair.
  • Strong understanding of software system integration and system debugging.
  • Computer networking and applicable industrial standards.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) and ROS.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
  • Experience troubleshooting networking and wireless issues.
