About the Role

Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Construction Crew Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our heavy construction crew, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the heavy construction crew, ensuring that all team members are working safely and efficiently.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is maintained in a safe and healthy condition.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, including production reports, safety reports, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a heavy construction crew leadership role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment, with overtime required and tight deadlines.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication for this role.
