Job Title: General Manager - Casual Dining

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our casual dining restaurant in Fredericton. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the delivery of a great guest experience, and achieving business goals and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the restaurant team to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Develop and implement marketing, advertising, public, and community relations programs to attract guests
  • Ensure the restaurant operates in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to food safety and quality standards
  • Build relationships with team members, guests, and the local community to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Monitor and control costs, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the head office team to implement company-wide initiatives and strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a casual dining restaurant
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Passion for developing and motivating team members, and recognizing their achievements
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards, and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
