We are a renowned bakery and pastry shop seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef at The Pastry Peddler, you will be responsible for leading our pastry operations and ensuring the highest quality of our baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and execute menus that showcase our expertise in pastry arts, using only the finest ingredients and techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of skilled pastry chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional results.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
