In this position, you will oversee all aspects of Aquatics, ensuring exceptional service and safety for all participants. If you are passionate about the YMCA's mission and values, possess supervisory experience, and hold relevant certifications in lifeguarding and aquatic instruction, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Aquatics initiatives, including the YMCA Swim and Junior Lifeguard programs.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteers.
- Ensure program safety and adherence to YMCA standards.
- Deliver training in AED, First Aid, and CPR.
- Assist staff in providing outstanding service and embodying the YMCA values.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in instruction and supervision.
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity.
