Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Farm Labourer to join our team at Immigrate. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining our farmland, ensuring optimal crop production and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Soil Preparation and Irrigation: Prepare and irrigate soil to create a fertile environment for crop growth.
  • Crop Management: Plant, fertilize, thin, and harvest crops to ensure maximum yield and quality.
  • Product Handling: Load, unload, and transfer products for transport, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Pre-Season and Post-Season Activities: Prepare for seeding and harvesting, and clean up harvest bins and general areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Farm Maintenance: Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Requirements
  • Punctuality and Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a strong sense of punctuality and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift 100lbs repeatedly, with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and stamina.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience with equipment operation is an asset, with a strong focus on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to work long hours as required during peak seasons, with a strong emphasis on adaptability and flexibility.
