Aramark Canada is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are committed to delivering outstanding customer service to join our Food Services team as Dining Hall Service Associates.

The essential functions and responsibilities of this role may differ by location based on client needs and operational requirements.



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality and courteous customer service to all patrons.
  • Inform customers about menu selections, daily specials, and dining hall activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area at all times.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including knives, pots, pans, and appliances.
  • Organize the workspace and manage production schedules effectively.
  • Ensure proper storage of products and maintain inventory levels.
  • Follow recipes with attention to portion control, presentation, and use of convenience items.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and management.
  • Prepare a variety of food items, including herbs, spices, produce, and alternative proteins.
  • Make condiments, preserves, and dressings as needed.
  • Stock and arrange items on shelves, including cereal, bread, and salad bars.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils as required.
  • Document temperatures, label products following FIFO guidelines, and maintain waste and cleaning logs.
  • Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Experience in the food service industry is a plus.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
