About the Role

Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing innovative technologies that drive the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement total compensation programs for the organization, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with Magna's Employees' Charter principles.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions, collaborating with global HR partners and vendors as needed.
  • Lead implementation and change management for new initiatives, providing training and education to support global HR Partners and operating divisions.
  • Partner with external vendors and networks to gather market data and trends, ensuring the competitiveness of total compensation programs.
  • Support the administration and optimization of the Workday system, assisting other Magna divisions with implementation.
  • Manage the Magna Total Compensation Survey, monitoring completion and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support executive management contract approval and renewal processes, ensuring effective records retention and timely processing.
  • Develop and oversee the Job Evaluation process, supporting market data comparison and internal pay equity compliance.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
  • 4-7 years of progressive and relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in automotive/industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with an HRIS system, preferably Workday, and sound knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Excellent computer literacy and command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Global compensation experience is an asset.
