About the Role:

Sephora Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent and Business Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading the operations of the store, ensuring execution of all operations-focused processes, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Champion: Conduct final interviews for all key positions, source, select, and hire candidates using the online applicant tracking system.
  • Training & Development: Manage all training-related functions within the store, develop and execute the store's on-going training strategy in conjunction with the Store Director and Education partners.
  • Performance Assessment & Development: Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner, oversee the process for the entire store, and participate in the management of all performance management situations within the team.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the operations of the store, ensure execution of all operations-focused processes, manage inventory, and oversee shipping, receiving, returning merchandise, cycle counting, and other processes.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the store's sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable expenses.

Requirements:

  • Two to four years of experience in a similar role at a similar volume store or equivalent internal experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels.
  • Proven ability to create teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop cast to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service.
