We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head, Clinical Development Strategy & Integration Lead. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical development strategies and integrating new businesses and assets into our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute clinical development strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Lead the integration of new businesses and assets into our company, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to our operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize clinical development opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, clinical development teams, and external partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to clinical development teams to ensure successful execution of clinical trials and studies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with clinical development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources to support clinical development initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and approaches to improve clinical development efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) required.
- At least 8 years of experience in people and matrix management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences.
- Advanced business or finance degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in consulting or banking (healthcare focus) preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with experience leading diverse work teams and driving program excellence.
- Previous work and leadership experience in international and multidisciplinary drug development teams.
- Strong knowledge of drug development strategy and experience working in a global team environment.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
