Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Nest Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 people, with the potential to expand to 5-10 people, to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop and manage project plans, including labour and material estimates, to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the execution of landscape construction projects, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain project-related data, including work schedules, material usage, and labour hours.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support project execution.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and address project-related issues, providing expert advice and recommendations to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure project success.
Work Environment:

This role requires working outdoors in various locations, with a focus on tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
