Job Summary

Tenaxx Logistics Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with dispatch and other stakeholders.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid passport, driving record check (abstract), and a valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel cross-border, extended periods, and overnight.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications and Licenses: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Work Environment: Sitting, with a typical workweek of 35 to 40 hours.
