Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Parmar Bros Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and move around the store as needed.
- Accurate, Flexible, and Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
As a Retail Sales Associate at Parmar Bros Inc, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
