About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labourer, Landscape Specialist to join our team at Lorraine Hydro-Seeding Inc. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including excavation, grading, and planting.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage from work sites.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Work Environment

As a Labourer, Landscape Specialist, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in wet/damp conditions, and be exposed to dust, noise, and heat.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
