About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JVR Landscape (2006) INC. as a key member of our grounds maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Ensure the upkeep of our landscapes by removing weeds, pruning trees, and trimming plants to maintain a visually appealing and healthy environment.
  • Cut Grass and Maintain Turf: Utilize equipment to cut grass and maintain turf to the highest standards, ensuring a well-manicured appearance.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Regularly rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure the removal of litter and garbage from our landscapes to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and spreading of topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Assist in the installation of new sod or seeding of lawns to maintain a lush and healthy appearance.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist in the planting of bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our landscapes.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers as required to maintain the health of our plants and lawns.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Assist in the watering and maintenance of plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they remain healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment used for landscape maintenance tasks.
