The Retail Customer Platforms Technology division is responsible for the continuous improvement, development, implementation, and operational support of the Offer Management platform, Pricing & Rates, core banking systems, and advisory deposits systems. The Technical Business QA Analyst will collaborate closely with product owners and business analysts to comprehend business functions and requirements. This role involves working with offer management applications that facilitate offer configuration, tracking, and fulfillment for customers across various retail products. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Development for Retail Customer Platforms Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with senior management to gather data and insights related to project delivery and status.
  2. Create visually engaging and informative content for executive presentations.
  3. Work alongside senior management to compile weekly and monthly forecasts and other project financial reports.
  4. In partnership with the development team, conduct manual testing, develop test data, and execute exploratory, system, regression, migration, back-end, and user acceptance tests.
  5. Draft clear and concise defect reports, advocating for the customer's quality experience. Prioritize defects for resolution in collaboration with the development team.
  6. Engage in exploratory testing to uncover issues that may not be identified through other testing methods during each sprint and lead testing workshops.
  7. Where feasible, conduct functional tests ensuring clarity and maintainability, utilizing reusable domain-specific testing language components.
  8. Actively collaborate with the development team.
  9. Integrate with development teams to infuse quality throughout the software development lifecycle by providing ongoing feedback regarding standards, user experience, potential performance issues, and future bugs.
  10. Participate in product design and requirements analysis, assisting the team during project planning to accurately estimate workload and scope release deliverables.
  11. Establish and execute acceptance criteria based on requirements, evaluating the effectiveness of test cases and adjusting strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional communication skills, capable of capturing and presenting status reports, test results, and ongoing reporting.
  2. Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in reviewing requirements or stories to define and develop test strategies, plans, cases, acceptance criteria, and scripts.
  3. Experience collaborating with multiple software development teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  4. Familiarity with QA processes, agile delivery, testing methodologies, and procedures.
  5. Able to work effectively with technology-focused peers on multiple concurrent projects.
  6. Ideally, prior experience with both agile and waterfall project methodologies, thriving in fast-paced, challenging environments while demonstrating proactivity and a willingness to learn.
  7. Experience in providing time and effort estimations for QA based on business requirements.
