We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Sellax Roofing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing metal roofs, applying waterproof coatings, and erecting scaffolding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Waterproof Coatings: Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, adhering to industry standards.
  • Scaffolding and Working Platforms: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Area of Specialization: Work on conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Site Environment: Be prepared to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially dangerous conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Physical Capabilities: Be physically demanding, with the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing is preferred.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Work 30 to 48 hours per week.
