We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Sellax Roofing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing metal roofs, applying waterproof coatings, and erecting scaffolding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a watertight seal and meeting industry standards.
  • Waterproof Coatings: Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Scaffolding and Platform Installation: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe access to rooftops.
  • Roofing System Installation: Install sheet metal flashings, conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Outdoors, at heights, and in a physically demanding role.
