Puneet Orchards Farm Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker to join our team at Puneet Orchards. As a Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers and other agricultural products as instructed
  • Dose water, light, and temperature to promote crop growth and development
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, and harvest seedlings
  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Mix fertilizers and other agricultural products
  • Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns
  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Write daily progress reports
  • Clean work area
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
