About the Role

RhynoCare Staffing is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents according to individual diets and preferences.
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and refrigerators, and maintain accurate temperature records.
  • Deliver catering to assigned locations throughout the hospital and assist with food preparation and cleanup.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Participate in facility meetings and attend in-service education programs as assigned.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act.
  • Food Handlers Certification approved by the Public Health Department.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and stat holidays.
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads and stand for long periods.
  • Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS) within the past 6 months.
