As a Finance Manager with Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and success. Our Fulfillment Centers (FCs) utilize cutting-edge technology, including Amazon robotics, scanning machines, and computer systems that track millions of items daily. You will work closely with a broad range of Finance and business leaders in Operations, HR, Technology, and Retail to design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
  • Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced Excel functions.
  • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
  • Communicate data effectively, both written and verbal, in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions.
  • Manage a direct report and take part in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related analytical field.
  • 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python).
