About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their homes are comfortable and safe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair HVAC equipment, including water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioners, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Install new HVAC systems, ensuring safe operation and proper maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.

Requirements
  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A valid Gas Technician II license.
  • A certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
  • A valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • A Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform all work required of this position, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height.
