Overview of Role

MaxSys Staffing and Consulting is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join their Kingston team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment, ensuring safe operation, and instructing customers on proper care and maintenance.

Your Day-to-Day:
  1. Service HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  2. Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
  3. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma, minimum requirement.
  2. Gas Technician II License, requirement.
  3. Certificate of Qualification as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – D), required.
  4. Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card, required.
  5. Class G Driver's License, required.
  6. 3-5 years' experience in service of Water Heaters and HVAC equipment, an asset.
  7. Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
  8. Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  9. Ability to understand and learn new technologies.
