Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Lead and mentor our sales and marketing team to ensure high performance and achievement of organizational targets.
- Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct regular market analysis to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on market trends and performance.
- Support the marketing team in creating and communicating consistent content to protect and grow the business.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partnerships.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business outreach strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new potential distribution partners across Canada.
- Identify new product opportunities for distribution to our existing partners.
- Stay current on the latest industry trends, including feeding technologies that will allow Grober to continue to differentiate and lead in the industry.
- Develop a strong connection with leading researchers, consultants, veterinarians, and influencers to identify collaboration opportunities to advance our knowledge and brand.
- Develop the ability to go direct to larger farms to pull sales through existing channels of distribution.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience leading sales and marketing, with a proven track record of setting both strategic and tactical plans to deliver profitable growth, preferably in an Animal Nutrition or Agricultural capacity.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully growing in market, creating new business opportunities, and attracting new customers.
- Strong communication skills, negotiation, and networking skills. Preferably already highly visible in the agricultural community.
- Prior leadership experience providing support to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to travel across Canada for various shows, events, and potential new partnerships periodically.
