In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of high-priority IT projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your expertise in project management methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving these initiatives to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex technology and business projects from initiation to closure.
- Collaborate with Business Services Directors, CIO, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and best practices.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors effectively to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status updates and key milestones to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of project management procedures and methodologies.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects within a professional environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects in a professional setting.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, ITIL, or PMP are highly desirable.
