Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Child and Youth Program Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and leading activities for children and youth in accordance with YMCA standards and program expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Child and Youth team to develop and implement programs that promote healthy lifestyles and social development for children and youth.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, youth, and families, and provide a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all members, participants, staff, and property.
  • Promote the YMCA's mission, vision, and values, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children and youth, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with children and youth with exceptionalities, an asset.
  • Availability to work Sunday to Thursday, 8:15am to 12:15pm.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Standard First Aid (CPR) certification.
  • Child Protection Training.
  • Criminal Record Check.
