About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Maintenance Labourer to join our team at 1863931 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging ditches and trenches, spreading sand or salt on sidewalks, and loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement and assist skilled tradespersons with routine maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Assist in snow removal and debris cleanup, and load snow and debris into carts or trucks.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent not required, but an asset.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Dependability, judgment, and a strong work ethic.
