Handyman/Woman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at 9280-2966 QUEBEC INC. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact specialized tradespersons for major repairs.
- Conduct minor repairs on appliances and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Carry out safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance and integrity of our facilities.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access for employees and visitors.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary materials to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform on-site servicing and repair to minimize downtime and ensure that our facilities are always operational.
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and work in a variety of settings.
- Be able to bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks that require flexibility and mobility.
- Be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Have initiative and be proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Be versatile and able to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to new situations.
- Be willing to relocate for this position.
