Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Coordinator specializing in environmental characterization and remediation to enhance our operations in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in various tasks
  • Perform research, conduct site assessments, and interpret basic data
  • Draft reports for environmental site evaluations - Phase I
  • Manage all phases of straightforward environmental characterization projects - Phase II and the rehabilitation of contaminated locations
  • Oversee field operations and subcontractors
  • Engage in fieldwork by supervising interventions for environmental soil and groundwater characterization and site rehabilitation
  • Monitor trench explorations, environmental drilling, observation well installations, and sampling of environmental soil and groundwater
  • Conduct tests for groundwater, biogas, surveying, and permeability
  • Carry out site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Implement and uphold health and safety protocols on-site
  • Prepare site and technical reports
  • Contribute to the creation of technical service offerings and financial proposals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geological engineering, civil engineering, or related environmental fields
  • 0-2 years of pertinent experience
  • Fluency in French is essential
  • Possession of a valid ASP Construction Card is mandatory
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Self-sufficient, organized, responsible, resourceful, and punctual
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasionally outside the region
