We are currently seeking an Associate to join the Active Equities Strategy and Operations team. The Active Equities (AE) department primarily invests in common equity of publicly traded companies across various sectors, regions, and sizes. The department's strategies are implemented across four regional investment teams covering North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The AE Strategy & Operations group spearheads the strategic and business management activities for the department, including support for operational, administrative, and financial functions, as well as overarching strategic initiatives.

As a member of a nimble team, you will have the chance to collaborate with seasoned strategists and public market investors, enhancing your skills through mentorship and apprenticeship. You will work closely with our Active Equities colleagues across regions, gain exposure to senior leadership, and leverage subject-matter experts from across the Fund.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to department-wide strategic initiatives prioritized by senior management
  • Provide project management support for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Utilize creativity and conceptual framing skills to address intricate challenges
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to derive unique insights
  • Effectively communicate your analytical findings in a clear and impactful manner
  • Support the annual business planning process and quarterly departmental reporting
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Operations and Portfolio Management teams to ensure the department operates successfully

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in consulting or related strategy roles, preferably within the investment sector
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts effectively (verbally, visually, and in writing)
  • Experience presenting to various organizational levels and drafting reports for senior management
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills
  • Highly motivated and ambitious, eager to learn, adaptable, and determined
  • An MBA or CFA designation is preferred
  • Exemplary leadership qualities, with strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to a professional corporate environment
  • Proven organizational and project management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
