Financial Record Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting practices. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Prepare trial balances for the books.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
Expertise in Accounting is essential for this role.
Work Environment- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Must be accurate and organized.
- Effective time management skills are necessary.
