Carpenter Position at Chalmers Contracting

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to contribute to the construction of innovative projects at Chalmers Contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry.
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
