Comfort Inn Amherst is a leading hospitality company with a portfolio of hotels across the country. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.

The Role:

The General Manager is responsible for effectively managing and overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations, including:

  • Guest relations and front desk management
  • Sales and revenue management
  • Housekeeping and maintenance
  • Product quality and accounting
  • Team building and staff development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and yield management
  • Develop and execute business plans, including sales and marketing strategies
  • Lead a team of employees to deliver exceptional guest service and drive revenue growth
  • Represent the hotel in industry associations and maintain strong community involvement
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction and maintain product and service quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality management experience
  • Proven leadership and entrepreneurial skills
  • Ability to interact and coach all levels of management and staff
  • Experience in staff management, recruitment, training, and motivation
  • Background in business planning, marketing, and sales
  • Proven track record in revenue management and exceeding sales targets
