Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Operator to join our team at Acier Fati inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machines to produce high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate and maintain light and heavy metalworking machines, including cutting, bending, rolling, reaming, punching, drilling, and welding equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for accuracy, shape, and dimension, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate machinery, investigate and fix problems, and perform minor repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Material Handling: Select and transport materials to the work area manually or using cranes or hoists.
  • Documentation: Accurately document work completed and maintain records as required.
Work Environment

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be working in a noisy area, and physical stamina is required to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English or French language proficiency is required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
