Job Title: Assortment Planning Analyst

Join RONA Inc. as an Assortment Planning Analyst and contribute to the success of our dynamic team responsible for supporting merchandisers in their category reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with merchandisers to understand category needs and objectives.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop in-depth analyses to support strategic decisions and prepare reports and presentations for merchandisers and management.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions on assortment strategy and develop expertise in assigned areas of the assortment planning process.
  • Create ad hoc analyses to support assortment optimization and financial modeling scenarios.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Clear communication and effective presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Understanding of concepts related to assortment planning.
  • Retail experience preferred.
