Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Caregiver to join our team at JoLe - private home. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, and organizing.
  • Errands and Transportation: Accompany clients on errands and provide transportation as needed.
  • Medication Management: Assist with medication management, including reminders and administration.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Availability: Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our clients live in urban areas, and the work setting is in their private homes. We require a non-smoking environment.

Weight Handling

Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) of weight handling is required.
